Setback Zoning LookupPark City Municipal Planning / Zoning Lookup 1) Go to Park City Municipals website: www.parkcity.org 2) Go to Department > Planning 3) Click on “Map Gallery” 4) Select the Zoning map 5) Enter the Address in the search bar Your result should look something like this: 6) Match the color with the Legend. That is your assigned Zone. 7) Go back to Park City Municipals home page: www.parkcity.org 8) Go to Departments > Planning > Codes & Policies > Municipal Code / Land Management Code 9) Once there, you want to look at Section 15: Land Management Code – Expand that whole section (It takes a while to load). 10) Specific information about your zone will be found in the Zone Specific section. Other information can be found on the general sections of the Land Management Code. The search feature allows you to put in key words and search that way. Anything in Upper Case is a defined term and can be found in the defined terms section. 11) *BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!* 12) Additional information on things like setback, limits of disturbance, and easements can be found on the plat map for the individual subdivision. 13) To get the name of the subdivision, go to the County Treasurer’s website: www.summitcounty.org > Government > Treasurer’s Office. 14) Click on Property Tax Search. Click Proceed. 15) Enter the street number only. 16) Pull up the applicable tax information. 17) Note the EXACT name of the subdivision 18) Go back to Summit County’s site: www.summitcounty.org > Government > Assessor’s Office > Eagle Web Property Search > Proceed. 19) Click on Onbase Public Documents 20) Use the drop down to select: Recorder Plats – Subdivision Condominium 21) Using *Wildcards* put in a portion of the Subdivision name. 22) When the results come back, select your specific subdivision – Typically the Original Copy is more clear than the Working Copy. 23) Check the Plat notes for anything that may be specific to the property that you are inquiring about.
