The "option" sign on the property lists Madeline's phone number; she is a licensed real estate agent
and has our permission to speak with potential buyers. Nothing happens without our approval.

I really have to get back to Council to approve a number but I would likely recommend around 10K. But again, prior to
making it official, I need CC direction.
Some thoughts?
It seems odd that developers are contacting Madeline, as she is not on the title as owner…how are they getting her
information? Really none of my business but interesting they are not dealing with Bill?

I have to get Council authorization but several thousand is not out of the realm of possibility.
I think asking Madeline how much the City asking for some time is worth to her…it basically just allows us to perform
some due diligence per your parcel and the adjacent parcels as the City has a desire to possible acquire all of it and
provide for open space and historic preservation.

Appraisal still in works, discussed with him yesterday….I think it might be good to discuss with Madeline the possibility of
the City getting a first right of refusal for 6months/year? The City would be willing to pay a nominal fee for this right.
Can you see if she might be open to that possibility?
I have no authorization from Council on this but want to show Madeline we are interested but need to do some due
diligence before pulling the trigger.
