Robert,
A building permit application was submitted for a pickleball court at 2732 Meadow Creek. The
building permit is not approved. Rather, Planning staff informed the property owner they will need
to submit a Conditional Use Permit for a private recreation facility, required to be reviewed by the
Planning Commission. At this time, Planning staff has not received the Conditional Use Permit
application.
Once the Conditional Use Permit application is submitted and the public hearing is scheduled, staff
will send public notice to property owners within 300 feet of the property providing information
regarding the date and time of the Planning Commission meeting.
Best,
Rebecca

Subject: [External] Pickleball Permit
[CAUTION] This is an external email.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
I am providing the attached information because my neighbor Frode Jensen and I are objecting to a
Building Permit Application submitted by our neighbor Stanton Jones to build a pickleball court at his
residence at 2742 Meadow Creek Drive, Lot 3 Willow Ranch Subdivision. We believe Mr. Jones’ site
plan included with the application is inaccurate and the location of the proposed court grossly
violates Drainage Easements, Limits of Disturbance Area, Native Areas, and setbacks as prescribed
by the Willow Ranch Plat, Land Management Code and CC&Rs.
Mr. Jones’ pickleball court would be a noise nuisance and visual scar that impacts our quiet
enjoyment and would significantly devalue our ( and others’) property.
Attached is:
Cover Letter detailing issues and a narrative of a Power Point presentation
Power Point presentation illustrating errors, omissions of Application and impacts of proposed
plan.
Willow Ranch CC&Rs – Selected pertinent definitions and provisions.
We renew our previous formal request for a meeting with all City personnel involved in the review
of the Building Permit. This issue is not a simple property boundary dispute. It has real and
significant consequences.
Thank you for your consideration.
D Robert Theobald
