ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE ENACTING CHAPTER 19,
UTILITIES
The City Council of Park City, Summit County, State of Utah,
ordains as follows:
Section I. That Chapter 19, Sections 19-1-1 through and including
19-5-1, Revised Ordinances of Park City, Utah, 1977 Edition, three (3)
copies of which are on file in the Office of the City Recorder of Park
City, Utah, be and the same are hereby passed and adopted.
Section 2. That all prior ordinances and amendments in conflict
therewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. In the opinion of the City Council, it is necessary to
the peace, health, and safety of the residents of Park City that this
Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its first publication.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City Council) off Park Clty, Utah, has approved,

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLES-
6, 7, & 8 OF TITLE TWO, OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF PARK CITY,
UTAH, $ELATING TO THE PLANNING
AND ZONING COMMISSION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARK CITY, UTAH, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Articles 6, 7, & 8 of Title Two, of
the revised ordinances of Park City, Utah, are hereby repealed
and of no futher force and effect, as of the effective date
of the ordinance.
SECTION 2: In the opinion of the City Council of
Park City, Utah, it is necessary for the peace, health, and
safety of the inhabitants of the City of Park City, Utah,
that this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and posting in three (3) public places within the
city,

OF A PLAT KNOWN AS PROSPECTOR VILLAGE
LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS
OF PARK CITY, UTAH
WIiEREAS, the owner of the land which has been laid
out and platted pursuant to and according to the statutes and
ordinances of Park City and the State of Utah, have petitioned
the Park City Council for an order vacating said portion of the
plat known as Prospector Village, as defined by the legal
description annexed herein, marked exhibit "A", and by reference
is incorporated herein and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there is good
and sufficient cause for vacating said portion of the plat
known as Prospector Village, and that the vacation of the
aforesaid portion of the plat as defined by its description
as exhibit "A", will not be detrimental to the general interest
of the inhabitants of the City of Park City, Summit County,
State of Utah, and that neither the public nor any person
will be materially injured by vacating the said portion of the
plat; and
WHEREAS, the property owners of record as it appears
on the records of the Summit County Recorder's Office, have
consented in writing to said vacation.

PARK CITY, SUMMIT COUNTY, UTAH, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is hereby ordered, by the power vested into the
said City Council pursuant to section 57-5-6 and section 10-8-8.1,
et seq., Utah Code Annotated, 1953, that the portion of the
plat as described more particularly in the attached exhibit "A"
be and the same is hereby vacated upon the effective date of
this ordinance. _

The plat known as Prospector Village was duly approved
by the City Council of the City of Park City on August 21, 1975,
and was duly recorded in the office of the Summit County Recorder's
Office on October 14, 1975, as entry number 128887. That at the
time of approval and recording of said plat due to the inadver-
tance and neglect of the owner the portion of the plat which
is sought to be vacated was left in the proposed plat, while
the owner had no intention of having said portion to be included
therein.
Petitioners further allege that neither the public
nor any person will be materially injured, by vacating the
said portion of the plat, and said vacation will not be detri-
mental to the general interest of the inhabitants of the City
of Park City.
A copy of the description of the portion of the plat
to be vacated is annexed herein marked Exhibit "A", and by
reference is incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
The undersigned owners of the property do hereby
by affixing their signatures at 'the bottom of this petition
consent to such vacation, and hereby waive any and all notice
requirements, and to the mailing of notice to the undersigned,
that the said portion of the plat is proposed to be vacated.
Attached herein to this Petition is a copy of the plat showing
the portion of the plat sought to bcc vacated. Petitioners
herein waive the time of notice to be given for the holding of
a hearing regarding the vacation of the portion of the plat, and
do pray the City Council that a hearing may be set at the
earliest possible time to adopt an ordinance vacating said

WE, the undersigned owners of the land which has
been laid out and platted as provided for by the statutes and
ordinances of Park City and the State of Utah, hereby petition
the City Council of the City of Park City, that a partial
vacation of the plat known as Prospector Village be vacated as
hereinbelow set forth.
The plat known as Prospector Village, was duly approved
by the City Council of the City of Park City on August 21, 1975,
and was duly recorded in the office of the Summit County Recorder's
Office on October 14, 1975, as entry number 128887. That at the
time of approval and recording of said plat due to the inadver-
tence and neglect of the owner the portion of the plat which
is sought to be vacated was left in the proposed plat, while
the owner had no intention of having said portion to be included
-therein.
Petitioners further allege that neither the public
nor any person will be materially injured, by vacating the
said portion of the plat, and said vacation will not be detri-
mental to the general interest of the inhabitants of the City
of Park City.
A copy of the description of the portion of the plat
to be vacated is annexed herein marked Exhibit "A", and by
reference is incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
The undersigned owners of the property do hereby
by affixing their signatures at the bottom of this petition
consent to such vacation,.and hereby waive any and all notice
requirements, and to the mailing of notice to the undersigned,
that the said portion of the plat is proposed to. be vacated.
Attached herein to this Petition is a copy of the plat showing
the portion of the plat sought to be vacated. Petitioners
herein waive the time of notice to be given for the holding of,
a hearing regarding the vacation of the portion of the plat, and
do pray the City Council that a hearing may be set at the
earliest possible time to adopt an ordinance vacating said

WE, the undersigned abutting property owners, abutting
to First Street, situated in the City of Park City, Summit
County, State of Utah, hereby Petition the City Council of the
City of Park City that the said First Street be vacated.
Said vacation of the street is based upon the reason
and for the grounds that the portion of First Street, which is
sought to be vacated by this petition, is not usable as a
roadway or a public street by anyone, in that there are several
obstructions and improvements located thereupon, and that for at
least the last twenty-five years no one has been able to use
this street for driving or other purposes as a public street.
Vacation of said street will not be detrimental to the general
interests of the inhabitants of the City of Park City, Utah.
A copy of the description of the portion of the
street to be vacated is annexed herein marked Exhibit "A", and
by reference is incorporated herein, and made a part hereof.
The undersigned owners of the abutting property do
hereby by affixing their signatures at the bottom of this
petition consent to such vacation, and do hereby waive any and
all notice requirements, and to the mailing of notice to the
undersigned that the said street is proposed to be vacated.
Attached herein to this petition is a copy of the plat showing
the property street and the ownership of the abutting property
owners. Petitioners herein waive the time of notice to be

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PENALTY PROVISION
FOR NONPAYMENT OF THE WATER BILL
BE IT ENANCTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARK CITY
AS FOLLOWS:
Section1l. That section 19-4-8 0£ the Municipal
Code of the City of Park City, Utah, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Section 19-4-8. In the event that any such bill is
not paid within forty (40) days from the first day of the
month for which it is due, such bill shall be deemed delinquent
and a penalty of ten (100) per cent shall be added thereto;
if such bill remains delinquent and in arrears for more than
thirty (30) days, all water service to the premises concerned
shall be immediately cut off.
Section 2. It is hereby declared by the City Council
that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preserva-
tion of the peace, health, and safety of the city and there-
fore shall take effect immediately upon its publication and
posting.

AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO REGULATION OF
SKIING IN CLOSED AREAS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARK CITY AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is hereby declared that the purpose of
this Ordinance is to safeguard the safety of the inhabitants
and visitors of the City, and that the skiing areas within the
City be controlled and regulated to accomplish this goal.
Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person, for
the purpose of skiing or other reason, to willfully go upon any
area designated by the sheriff, Forest Service, National Park
Service or Ski Patrol as unsafe.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect on or

AN ORDINANCE LEVYING ONE -QUARTER OF ONE PER CENT TAX AS SALES
TAX UPON ANY SALE WITHIN THE CITY OF PARK CITY, UTAH
WHEREAS, the City electors at a duly held municipal election have
decided and approved the levying of an additional one -quarter of one per cent
sales tax to finance a public transportation system.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Park City, Utah,
as follows:
Section 1. In addition to any other tax authorized by the laws of
the State of Utah and/or of this municipality, there hereby is established,
approved, and levied a sales and use tax upon the retail sales, as defined and
included in Section 59-15-4, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended, of
one -quarter of one per cent, the same to be used in connection with the
financing of a public transportation system within the City of Park City, Utah.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective according to and pursuant
to the laws of the State of Utah.

of Park City, Utah, is hereby amended by adding and incorporating
therein the Uniform Municipal Criminal Ordinance Code as set
forth in the attached Exhibit "A" which by reference is incorp-
orated herein and made a part hereof.
Section 2. It is hereby ordered that three (3) copies
of the said Uniform Criminal Code shall be filed with the
Park City Recorder's Office for use and examination by the
public.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect on
or after twenty (20) days after its posting, or after thirty
(30) days after its passage whichever of said days is most
remote from the passage of this ordinance.

WHEREAS, the abutting owners owning real property abutting
Marsac Avenue, Park City, Summit County, Utah, have petitioned the
Park City Council for an order vacating said street or portion thereof,
as defined by the legal description, annexed herein, marked Exhibit "A"
and which by reference is incorporated herein and made a pert hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there is good and sufficient
cause for vacating said street, and that the vacation of the aforesaid
street as defined by its description, as Exhibit "A" will not be detri-
mental to the general interest of the inhabitants of the City of Park
City, Summit County, Utah; and
WHEREAS, all the preperty owners of record as it appears from the
records'of the Summit County Recorder's office abutting the part of
the street petitioned to be vacated have consented in writing to said
vacation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PARR CITY,
SUMMIT COUNTY, UTAH, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is herby ordered, by the power vested into the said
City Council persuant to section 10-8-8.1 et seq., Utah Code Annotated,
1953, as amended, that the public street known as Marsac. Avenue and de-
scribed more particularly in the attached Exhibit 'A", be and the same
is hereby vacated upon the effective date of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. This ordinance may be recorded in the records of the
Summit County Recorder's Office, Summit County, Utah.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective twenty (20) days
after publication, or thirty (30) days after its passage and posting as
required by law, whichever of said days is most remote from the final
