Date of Action: October 4, 2019
On October 4, 2019, the Park City Planning Department Staff made an official determination of Approval
of your sign application with the following findings and conditions of approval:
1. The scope of work for this Sign Permit includes the following, shown on Exhibits A-N:
a. North (Side) Façade: Total Sign Area of 14.39 square feet (See Exhibits F, J, L, M, N)
i. Window Signs D.1, D.2 & D.3: Three (3) window signs, each measuring one
foot and two inches by one foot and two inches (1’2” x 1’2”), approximately 1.36
square feet each for a total of 4.08 square feet.
ii. Window Sign F: One (1) window sign, measuring three feet and eleven inches
by nine inches (3’11” x 0’9”) or approximately 2.94 square feet.
iii. Window Sign G: One (1) window sign, measuring four feet and nine inches by
nine inches (4’9” x 0’9”) or approximately 3.56 square feet.
iv. Window Sign H: One (1) window sign, measuring five feet and one inch by nine
inches (5’1” x 0’9”) or approximately 3.81 square feet.
b. West (Front) Façade: Total Sign Area of 29.73 square feet (See Exhibits A-E & G-K)
i. Wall Sign 1 (Main Street): One (1) wall sign, measuring six feet by two feet and
four inches (6’0” x 2’4”), approximately 14 square feet.
ii. Window Sign A: One (1) window sign, measuring three feet and two inches by
two feet and two inches (3’2” x 2’2”) or approximately 3.69 square feet.
iii. Window Sign B: One (1) window sign, measuring four feet and nine inches by
nine inches (4’9” x 0’9”) or approximately 3.56 square feet.
iv. Window Sign C: One (1) window sign, measuring four feet and nine inches by
nine inches (4’9” x 0’9”) or approximately 3.56 square feet.
v. Window Signs D: One (1) window sign, measuring one foot and two inches by
one foot and two inches (1’2” x 1’2”) or approximately 1.36 square feet.
vi. Window Sign E: One (1) window sign, measuring four feet and nine inches by
nine inches (4’9” x 0’9”) or approximately 3.56 square feet.
c. South (Side) Façade: Total Sign Area of 14 square feet (See Exhibits A-C)
i. Wall Sign 2 (South Alley): One (1) wall sign, measuring six feet by two feet and
four inches (6’0” x 2’4”), approximately 14 square feet.
d. East (Rear) Façade: No proposed signs.
2. The signs shall be compliant with Park City Municipal Code, any applicable Master Sign Plan for
this site, and Sign Code, Title 12.
3. The signs shall be constructed with the materials and affixed to the building as approved (see
Exhibits A-N).
4. The signs shall be constructed with the dimensions as approved (see Exhibit A-N).
5. All window signs are limited to 30% of the transparent area of the window to which they are
attached.
6. All wall signs shall be placed below the finished floor elevation of the second flood or a maximum
of twenty feet (20’) above adjacent finished grade, whichever is lower (Sign Code 12-3-3(4)).
7. No portion of any sign (including attachment details/brackets) may project more than thirty-six
inches (36”) from the face of a building (Sign Code 12-4-6).
8. The letters shall not exceed twelve (12”) inches in height.
9. Letters shall be raised, routed into the sign face or designed to give the sign variety and depth
(Sign Code 12-4-7(2)).
10. The total Sign Area, including identified sign areas on Exhibits A-N and any future signs, shall not
exceed the maximum allowable Sign Area per façade (36 square feet).
11. No new lighting is being proposed or approved with this permit.
12. All materials shall be non-reflective and not fluorescent-colored. If any reflection complaints are
received, Code Enforcement actions may be taken and may result in the immediate removal of
the subject sign(s).
13. There is a current Business License for this business at this location.
14. Please contact the Building Department for information regarding Building Permit and Electrical
Permit requirements.
15. Schedule a building inspection with the Building Department after your sign is installed.

16. If upon Final Inspection it is found that the installed signs do not comply with the above approved
dimensions, details, or conditions of approval, Code Enforcement Actions will be taken which may
result in the immediate removal of the subject sign(s).
17. If the signs are found to have been installed and no Final Inspection has b een scheduled, Code
Enforcement Action may be taken.
