Summary and Conclusions
On April 14, 2022 Garth Haslem of CEI performed a structural inspection on the
property at 2651 Little Kate Road in Park City. This is a single family home, originally
built in 1976. It is on a lot of 10,454 square feet and is also shown online as being a 4
bed, 2 bath, 1,879 square foot home.
This home is being renovated. The builder intends to add a five foot window above the
front door, add new steps at the front porch, and add a stairway from the back deck to
the patio slab.
As relates to the window, the engineer recommends a minimum two 2x8’s as a header
above this window area. The remainder of the window can be framed in accordance
with standard building practices.
The front stairway is in place and is shown in the attached photography. This stairway
meets structural requirements.
The back stairway from the deck is also shown in the photography. This stairway also
meets structural requirements.
