I have owned properties and businesses in both Heber and Park City for the past 17
years, engaging with all socio-economic levels throughout the communities. Through
my diverse business and community roles, I am familiar and work with Park City as
well as Wasatch and Summit County governments. Many challenges are presented by
our rapid population growth and I have a proven track record of seeking a balance that
provides for sustainable solutions in many different problem areas. As an example,
when developing River’s Edge Resort in Heber City, it proved to be a solution to the
seasonal employee issues. My development and lease agreements have been a win-win
for both Summit and Wasatch County communities and for the local ski resorts. We
now house approx. 300 seasonal employees each winter.
With my appointment to the Park City Planning Commission in 2018, as well as my
UDABC liquor licensing dating back to 2008, background investigations accurately
reflect my unblemished past. With regard to the UDABC licensing I hold three licenses:
one restaurant, one club and one packaging license, all of which require oversight
reviews on all inventory, food and beverage ratios and sales tax auditing.
My main focus is community improvement. I am involved with many community
service providers including the Christian Center, the People’s Clinic, The National
Ability Center, KPCW, etc. For me, it is not just charitable donations, it’s personal
interaction.
In my free time, I enjoy skiing, biking and binge watching streamers with my wife
Nancy and our 3 cats.
